Epoxy glass laminate is a laminated composite made from chemically treated alkali-free glass fibre fabric, hot pressed with epoxy resin as the binder. The manufacturing process produces a dense, dimensionally stable sheet with a high glass-to-resin ratio — the same chemistry that underpins PCB substrates and high-voltage insulation panels.
Three product forms are supplied from the same base: laminated sheets, laminated rods and laminated tubes. All three share the same mechanical and dielectric profile, so engineers can select the shape that fits the equipment without switching material grades.
Plus FR-4 and FR-5 flame-retardant grades. All five types supplied from the same production line.

Custom sizes: special sheet dimensions are produced to drawing by mutual agreement. Cut-to-size, CNC routing, drilled holes and edge chamfering are available on request.
The dense glass-to-resin structure delivers high tensile and flexural strength with low deformation under load, so the sheet holds its shape in structural insulating parts and machining fixtures.
Alkali-free glass fibre with epoxy resin gives a stable dielectric barrier for machinery, appliances and electronics. Used as the base for PCB substrates and high-voltage insulation panels.
Good resistance to heat, moisture and weathering. The laminate does not swell, delaminate or lose its mechanical properties under long-term exposure to humidity and temperature cycling.
Bearing housings, spacers, wear plates, jigs and fixtures where mechanical strength and dielectric isolation must coexist.
Switch bases, terminal boards, arc barriers, fuse holders and support brackets in low and medium-voltage equipment.
FR-4 and FR-5 grades as PCB substrate material; G10 and G11 as structural backing for electronic assemblies and test fixtures.
Transformer spacers, busbar supports, insulator bodies and arc-control plates where dielectric strength must hold under heat.
3240 is the general-purpose epoxy glass sheet for most mechanical and electrical insulation use. G10 adds higher mechanical strength for structural parts. G11 adds high-temperature resistance for continuous service above 150 ℃. FR-4 adds flame retardancy (the PCB substrate grade), and FR-5 combines flame retardancy with high temperature resistance. All five types share the same glass fibre and epoxy resin base.
Thickness runs from 0.5 mm to 120 mm. Standard sheet sizes are 1020×1220 mm, 1220×2040 mm, 1220×2440 mm and 1220×3300 mm; special sizes are produced to drawing by mutual agreement. Standard colors are yellow and green. Laminated rods and laminated tubes are supplied from the same material family.
Yes. The laminate is produced with a dense glass-to-resin structure specifically so it can be sawn, drilled, milled, routed and tapped without chipping the edges. Kaxite offers cut-to-size, CNC routing, drilled holes, countersinking and edge chamfering on request.
Standard sheet sizes and thicknesses ship from stock; custom sizes and CNC work are produced to drawing with lead time confirmed at order. Sheets are shipped flat on pallets with protective film to avoid scratches and edge damage during transit. Contact Kaxite for a quotation and sample.
